This is an ayurvedic medicine which is in the form of tablets. The main ingredient of this tablet is catechu which is also known as khairsar. It is called catechu due to the presence of khairsar in it. Khadiradi Vati It is said. This Vati is mainly used for problems occurring in the mouth. It is used in many diseases like dental diseases, lips, tongue, palate and hoarseness of voice. Problems like sore throat or hoarseness, bad breath are also cured by regular intake of this medicine.

Method of making Khadiradi Vati (Khadiradi Vati banane ki vidhi)

To make this medicine, catechu or khairsar should be boiled in appropriate amount of water. When one eighth of the water is left, grind mace, camphor, smooth betel nut and conch shell into fine powder and mix them to make pills. Dry them in shade. After drying, the prepared medicine is Khadiraadi Vati. Now it can be consumed.
