Benefits and Usages of Finger Millet
Consumption of Ragi strengthens bones
- Ragi is rich in calcium. If the food items made from this flour are consumed regularly, then weak bones or any problem related to bones can be easily solved. Calcium is very good for our bones.

- If you are physically thin and lack strength then you should consume Ragi flour. By consuming it, your body will get strength and become healthy.
Relieve asthma and cough
- If the ghee prepared from substances like ragi etc. is consumed in proper quantity, then it can be beneficial in curing asthma and cough as well as the problem of hiccups.
