What is Vaividang?

External form (morphology)

 Its tree is big and branched. Its stem is simple, rod-shaped, shiny and rough from inside. Its branches grow forward taking support of the nearby trees and wrapping around them. Its leaves are broad, spear-shaped and shiny. Its flowers are white in colour. Its fruits are spherical, smooth, fleshy and light red in colour. Its seeds are single, spherical and white in colour. Its flowering and fruiting period comes from January to June.

To get relief from stomach worms (Vaividang for stomach bugs)

• Often, due to eating impure food or due to some disease, worms develop in the stomach. If you are also very troubled by the pain caused by stomach worms, then consuming Vayvidang powder with honey or cooking Vidang, Pippalimool, drumstick, black pepper and buttermilk and consuming Yavagu mixed with Sajjikshār, helps in getting rid of stomach worms.
