Introduction of Kanchnar guggul (Benefits, dosage)

This guggulu is an ayurvedic medicine. It is mainly used in the treatment of goiter. This medicine is also beneficial in diseases like tumour, tumor, leprosy, fistula and cancer. Lumps formed due to aggravated vata and kapha can be cured with the help of this medicine. This medicine is available in the form of tablets. Apart from these it has several other benefits. Since its main ingredient is Kanchnar bark it is called Kanchnar guggulu.

Ingredients of Kanchnar Guggul (Kanchnar Guggul ke Ghatak)

• Kanchanar Bark
• Pure Guggul
• Triphala
• trikatu
• Verna's bark
• Cardamom
• cinnamon
• bay leaf

Method of making Kanchnar guggul (Kanchnar guggul banane ki vidhi)

Make a decoction by mixing Kanchanar bark with water in appropriate quantity. When one fourth part remains, add pure guggul in it and cook it again on low flame. When it thickens, mix Triphala, Trikatu, Varana bark, cardamom, cinnamon, powder of bay leaf and make tablets. Now they can be dried and used.

Benefits of Kanchnar Guggul (Kanchnar Guggul ke fayde)

In case of scrofula (in throat disease)

In Ayurveda, this disease is also known by the names of Gandmala and Apachi. These can be called the types or stages of Kanthmala. In this disease, the glands present in the throat grow and become like a garland, hence it is called Kanthmala.

Taking guggul, gandhak and rasout in equal quantity and grinding them in water and applying on goiter is very beneficial. (Ayurveda Saarsangrah)
Along with the formation of lumps, there is also a burning sensation in this disease. After the size of the lumps increases, they burst and pus also comes out from them.

If the patient is given Kanchanar Guggulu at the very beginning of this disease, then it provides relief. This medicine is also helpful in providing relief when there is an imbalance of hormones produced by the thyroid gland.

Kanchanar guggulu regulates the hormones secreted by the thyroid gland and helps in getting rid of problems like hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.

This is a type of skin disease which mainly affects the eyes and skin of a person. Using Kanchanar Guggulu provides relief in this disease.

For fissure

In this disease, a boil forms on the anus of the person. In this disease, wounds develop in the anus. After the wound, pus and contaminated blood comes out which is very painful. Using Kanchanar Guggulu provides relief in fistula disease.

Consumption method of Kanchnar Guggul (Kanchnar Guggul ki sevan vidhi)

• 2 to 4 tablets should be taken in the morning and evening.
• It is appropriate to consume it by making decoction of Kanchnar bark, Varana bark, Gorakhmundi and etc.
• If there is no significant benefit then it should be given along with gold ash, eighth ratti and coral panchamrit.
